Lewis Auto Swap Meet is held five times a year on the Lewis First Monday Grounds — the same legendary property that hosts First Monday Trade Days, the world-famous flea market that's been bringing Texans (and folks from a lot further) to Canton for over 170 years.

Your show runs the weekend after First Monday wraps. That means hotel availability is good, the crowds have thinned, and Canton — a town built for travelers — is at its most welcoming. A short drive from Dallas-Fort Worth, with 14 hotels, a historic downtown square, and good food waiting for you when the swap meet ends.

Where exactly is the venue?

Lewis First Monday Grounds at 701 N Trades Day Blvd, Canton, TX 75103 — the north entrance of the First Monday Trade Days property. About 60 miles east of Dallas, right off Interstate 20. Easy in, easy out.

How far are the hotels from the swap meet?

Most Canton hotels are between 2 and 10 minutes from the venue. Several are walking distance from the south end of the grounds. Our Book Direct site lists all available properties with current rates and availability.

What else is there to do in Canton?

Plenty. A historic downtown square with antique shops, local restaurants, and Hatfield Restorations — a working showroom of restored vintage automobiles.
